Complete Guide to Online Business Degrees
Control is something we as a people have sought since the beginning of time, Caesar wanted Rome, and Napoleon wanted the world. Today, things are not as complex as global conquest but in this day and age we see the ones who are in control are the ones that give us so many products every day of every year. These people are the heads of companies we can either love or hate, but the truth it; we simply cannot live without them. But what exactly is, Business Administration?
Business Administration is the process of managing everything about a business in order to maintain its growth and structure. Is the company stable? What can we do to increase profits? As an administrator you are referred to as the Chief Executive officer of the company, otherwise just known as the CEO. You set up all the departments within the company and you hire a lot of the people who maintain control of these departments, as a CEO you control the aspects of all forms of management be it lower, medium, and upper management. You are the head of all operations and ultimately your decisions are the ones that matter when taking the company into a specific direction.
As a CEO you will have people who are very close to your position underneath you, such as a Vice president (VP) who controls existing operations as well as a VP of expansion and a VP of research and development. Each operation is independent of one another but each operation must listen to the directions of the CEO before they can begin work on any form of developmental processes, of course this all being said the CEO has a board of directors that can clash with him but your façade of power may or may not trump what they can and can’t do against you authority.

Salaries
Depending on your level within the administration you can be paid anywhere from 35,000 dollars all the way to near 1,000,000 dollars. But don’t go in expecting to make that kind of money, it all depends on what the corporation is, how popular it is, what does it sell, and it also depends on whether you are in entry level management or senior level management, the seniors trump the smaller levels so they get paid much more. If you manage to reach that senior level you could be rolling in the millions but that’s a long ways off.
Careers
- Sales management- You control how a sale is to be made, you call all the shots, you put forth the money, you have the meetings, and you make the ultimate decision on whether to go through with a sale or not. You are also the one that takes the heat if you make a poor decision that affects millions.
- Retail Management- You control a store in which handles, maintains, and sells the products to the population. You do not decide the price on these products but you will sell it based on the stipulation of your corporate enterprise.
- Hospitality Management- You are in control of a building that offers a service and or a good to a paying customer, you will meet all of their needs and run a tight ship twenty four hours of the day to meet all customer needs as well as employment backlash.
If you’re into control and want to be apart of the world’s business administration attire now is your chance to make that decision. Whether you choose to go to school with these ideas in mind or not are clearly up to you, but always remember that no matter your successes always be fair for everyone, do not think only of the money, think of the goal you set for the company and do whatever you can to meet that goal. When you are in control you are that enterprise and you are the one that decides its fate, good or not.
